Romanazzi school
Our school was founded in 1959, over 40 years ago.
It is situated in Bari, via Ulpiani, and it has technical training courses.
There are three branches: a business & computer course – called
MERCURIO, a business administrative course – called IGEA, and a linguistic
course – called ERICA.
The check of the process quality is based on self-assessement plans of the
activities, according to IGEA aims. IGEA offers a legal-economic and
business general preparation.
The "Romanazzi" School has an important role in
Bari in training accountants, experts in
computer, foreign languages, trading, business and cultural applications.
In the linguistic course called ERICA, the student studies three foreign languages; moreover, Italian and History are studied in depth and also the History of Art and of the Territory are in the curriculum.
These features, associated with the study of Economics, Businness and Law, give this qualification abilities in the use of foreign languages, in business applications, in import-export actions, in cultural and trading exchanges, in the linguistic communication for intercultural tourism.
Business and computers course.
The business studying courses foresee the computer specialization of MERCURIO course and the business economic one of IGEA course.
Our students get the diploma of computer accountant or administrative accountant.
The MERCURIO course distinguishes itself for the specific and in-depth study of computers and for the complete and intensive use of computer labs.
The "Romanazzi" school has been among the first schools in Italy in which the studying course for computer accountants has been tested. In the last years we have created a spread automation of the educational structures and we have taken part in European and ministerial plans for the development of technological areas.
The school has been signed out in 1998 as School of provincial reference for the ministerial Programme for the Development of Educational Technologies.
Moreover it has carried out an important structural Project funded by the European Fund for the Regional Development for the innovation of technological areas.
Moreover we are carrying out different exchanges abroad for the European Project Comenius, Language and Arion.
The contacts and the exchanges with different European schools – among which the ROC Ter AA in Helmond (in the South of Holland) and the "Kaufmaennische Berufsschule" in Greifswald (in the North-.Eastern Germany) – are very intensive.
These two schools are partners in the Pilot Project of Leonardo Programme.
In different occasions there have been exchanges of visits and experiences with them.
Also a project of the Socrates frame with a gymnasium in Nassio (in the South of Sweden) and an informatic institute of Budapest are in progress and we have contacts for projects also with Great Britain.
