DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
Netdays 2000 implementation of Multimedial Service Center

The project supports a promotional activity of a Multimedial Service Centre and wants to develop a better awareness in the use of ICT.
The development of this project in the district area of the City of Bari offers the chance to test a form of interaction between institutional educational activities and a guidance to new professional profiles and a new management system.
The creation of a multifunctional Service Centre, among the activities of management of School Autonomy, enable the School and its Partners to operate in activities oriented to quality, innovation and to test dynamic methods of interaction.
The project will answer the demand of national and European politics regarding new professional profiles, a new labour settlement and the consequent new politics related to work agreements.
All activities really concern the development of networking in ICT and the supply of firm services, referred to management in Internet-Intranet of firm services, of digital video-editing stations, remote broadcasting, remote training, business by E-Mail, WEB management.
The Project intends to develop direct contacts, with partners, firms and factories of the district area of Bari and with other subjects interested in using services given by the Centre.

E MAILING COMMUNICATIONS

E-MAILING COMUNICATIONS ARE DEVELOPED BY GROUPS TO SPREAD THE INITIATIVE AND THE ACCESS TO THE DIFFERENT INTERNET SITES LINKED WITH THE SERVICE CENTRE.

VIDEO-SPOT EDITING

A STATION OF DIGITAL VIDEO-EDITING HAS BEEN USED TO EDIT, TITLE AND PROVIDE VIDEOCLIPS WITH SOUND (VHS FORMAT).

The Project is divided into operative phases shared by partecipants.
Every inner or outer expert becomes a trainer, in the Service Centre, as consultant or for evaluation, just to simulate how a real and operating Service Centre works in problem solving and management control. The Centre arranges activities with curricula and courses of studies of participants and takes care of carrying out experiences of inside training in local and European firms. Work group will turn in the direct management of the Service Centre.
The activities which have been planned for the Netdays week (20-27 November 2000) are the international spread of the initiative in progress which is realized also thanks to European partners and the Italian organizations which are participating. The agreements are defined by the Service Centre which is operating experimentally and its budget must be considered as additional as regards the expenses foreseen for the project. The European fund is justified by the exigency of promoting, during the Netdays 2000 week and successively, the effects of the initiative.
